A Strong Leadership Duo Will Lead Verston Estonia Construction Division
As of August, Verston Estonia’s construction business will be led by two leaders who have grown within the organization: Andro Aavik, Head of Construction, and Magnus Martinson, Head of Construction Development.
According to Jarmo Liiver, Chairman of the Management Board of Verston Estonia, the new leadership model is an important step in supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
“Verston’s continued growth means delivering increasingly large and complex infrastructure projects while expanding into new markets. To succeed, we must maintain excellence in project execution while continuously developing our management systems. Andro and Magnus complement each other exceptionally well – one focuses on the successful day-to-day delivery of projects. In contrast, the other develops the systems that will help us become even more efficient in the future. I am particularly pleased that both leaders have grown within our own organization, demonstrating that Verston offers real opportunities for professional growth and increasing responsibility,” said Liiver.
As Head of Construction, Andro Aavik will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects. His responsibilities include overall project performance, resource and team management, operational efficiency across construction sites, and maintaining healthy project cash flow and productivity. His objective is to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, to the highest quality standards, and profitably.
As Head of Construction Development, Magnus Martinson will focus on advancing Verston’s construction business by improving processes, leveraging digital tools, and adopting data-driven management. He will also lead the development of digitalization, Building Information Modeling (BIM), risk management, and Infrafly. His goal is to make project management more efficient, transparent, and scalable across the organization.
In addition to leading construction in Estonia, Andro Aavik and Magnus Martinson will jointly oversee the development of the Verston Group’s construction management system. The objective is to establish a unified, standardized, and data-driven management framework across the Group to support high-quality decision-making, digitalization, and consistent implementation across all Verston companies.
