Anneliis Aun joins Verston Group as Head of Brand and Communications
Anneliis Aun has joined Verston Group, the parent company of Estonia’s largest infrastructure construction company, as Group Head of Brand and Communications. She brings extensive experience leading marketing and communications at international IT and technology companies.
Before joining Verston, Aun worked for nearly five years at the IT company Nortal, where she initially led marketing and communications in the Estonian market and later drove the growth of the company’s global data and artificial intelligence business in Europe and the United States. Prior to Nortal, she served as Head of Marketing and Communications at OIXIO Digital, where she led the implementation of a new customer-centric marketing strategy and helped the company become a thought leader in its field. She has also worked in the defense industry, from Singapore to South America.
At Verston, Anneliis Aun’s role is to strategically lead the Group’s brand and communications across all Verston companies and regions and to support the Group’s expansion into new business areas and markets. Liisi Treier will continue to be responsible for the brand and communications of Verston Eesti, the Group’s largest infrastructure company.
“Verston has built an exceptionally strong brand in a sector where this is by no means common. In B2B and B2G sectors, the role of thought leadership is just as important as the brand itself, if not more so. I am also impressed by the Verston team’s ambition to expand into new markets, both in terms of services and geography.
Our goal is to continue speaking honestly about the impact the infrastructure we build has on society, and to show our team’s efforts to find more sustainable solutions. At the same time, we also want to introduce the people who create these values and shape the company’s future,” said Anneliis Aun.
“Verston Group is currently growing both geographically and across new business verticals, and our ambition is to help build modern and long-lasting infrastructure that creates value for both people and the environment. To support this growth, we need a strong, unique brand and the ability to lead communications and marketing across multiple cultural contexts simultaneously.
Anneliis stood out because of her international experience, strong background in the technology sector and artificial intelligence, and her engineering education, which helps her understand the specific nature of our field. Anneliis’s energetic approach and experience will bring important added value to Verston at this stage of our growth,” said Veiko Veskimäe, founder and co-CEO of Verston Group.
